The birds of the air know the direction they take
With legs elongated to full satisfaction
Their line produces an arrow like movement
Whereby they pierce the sky with vibrant flashes of colour and splendour.
Soaring high, speed increasing
Wings come into play to steer and oar the way with majesty,
balance and gait.
With strength and surety, they press forward.
A flight, not for the faint hearted!
