Layer upon layer of lava,

Multi-faceted, stones weather many storms, remain constant and dependable.

They make for good foundations to support structures that need firm ground.

Solid and dependable these gems do not falter, but play their part, fairly and squarely helping to stabilise unsure territory.

Conscientiously striving towards that which is required.

However, don’t be fooled by their somewhat tough, serious, even dull exterior – for deep within there lies a hidden talent, a playful, creative and adventurous side which surfaces once safety resides.

Remember great monuments can be shaped from stones that are carefully handled.
